Select Board April 20 and April 25: School building SOI and Town Administrator profile updates

During the meeting on April 20, members of the Select Board met briefly with Superintendent, James Jette, School Committee member Ada Rosmarin and Financial Director, Karen Preval, to discuss the school building project and submission of a Statement of Interest (SOI) to the Massachusetts School Building Association (MSBA). James Jette said that this will be the third attempt at submitting a SOI and he is hopeful that the third time is the charm. The Select Board motioned in favor of this request.

During the meeting on April 25, members of the Select Board met with Mary Aicardi of the Collins Center, to develop a Town Administrator candidate profile. They went over the profile document in detail and discussed the recommended edits and changes. At the end of this meeting they had in place a profile to advertise for the position vacancy.

The next meeting is scheduled to take place on April 27.
