Select Board April 12: Gile Road Land Swap

A land swap was approved for the purpose of building a new school. The land swap could impact the 7-acres of forested conservation land on Blue Hills Pkwy. The vote will go to Town Meeting which is to begin taking place on May 16, 2022.

The School Building Committee has worked for years to identify a site to build a new school, and this swap seems to be the best way to move forward with the process.

The Parks Commission and Conservation Commission are also in support of the land swap.
