Select Board August 6 and 11: October Special Town Meeting articles and amendments to the Context Architecture contract

The August 6 Select Board meeting was a very brief discussion of pending Warrant articles for the October Special Town Meeting. The Select Board received the Unpaid Bills Article FY2021 draft from Town Council, and moved to approve two articles from the Fire Station Building Committee. 

On August 11, the Select Board and Town Council met with members of the Fire Station Building Committee to discuss the Context Architecture contract. They have started their work, and have increased the scope of the work and fees. Therefore, there were some amended documents for the Select Board to review. The Select Board motioned to approve the 1st and 2nd amendments, which would total 1.375 million, which is within the budget of 2.75 million for design and soft costs.
