The Milton DPW will be conducting water main flushing beginning the week of May 17, 2021, in the East Milton area.

Water main flushing is an efficient method of improving water quality and is an important part of a water distribution system maintenance program. The flushing process may cause discolored water and a reduction in pressure. The discoloration of the water will be temporary and is not harmful.

Residents who experience discoloration should clear their water system by running their cold water for several minutes until the water is clear. We greatly appreciate your patience as we work to improve the quality of your drinking water.
