Matt DeMartis announces candidacy for Town Meeting Member, Precinct 6

Hi everyone,

My name is Matt DeMartis and I am a candidate for Precinct 6 Town Meeting Member seeking your vote on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.

After 12 years in Los Angeles, my family & I wanted to move back east to be closer to family (& introduce the kids to the seasons!). We moved to Milton in June – the town my wife called home growing up and after visiting we knew this was the place where we wanted to raise our children too.

To me, being part of a community is an active experience and the responsibility of being a town meeting member is a tremendous opportunity (which doesn’t exist in most places) – so I am taking the plunge. Here’s why:

In my work and personal life I’m a connector of people and a ‘do-er’.  I have spent the last 15 years in NYC and LA working in the Sports & Entertainment industry. I am currently the Head of Strategic Accounts at The SpringHill Company – an empowerment brand built on inclusion; founded by LeBron James. My role is to match unheard voices with brand marketers to create consumer value. In my personal life, as an athlete, I am driven to win but not afraid of the losses. This is where I learned the value of teamwork and trust to achieve a goal. Also, If you like novice stand-up comedy, I am your guy too.

As a town meeting member, I want to make sure all voices are heard and to make things happen that benefit our families and the community at large. I’m looking forward to harnessing my energy for my Precinct 6 neighbors.
