Changes in mattress/ box spring pick-up effective March 1

Starting March 1st, 2021 the price of curbside mattress collection will increase to $15.00 per mattress and box spring. Each mattress/box spring will require five (5) $3.00 trash stickers to be picked up.

Previous protocol regarding pick up will remain the same. Mattress are picked up by Milton DPW staff on Tuesdays by appointment only. To ensure your mattress or box spring is picked up please fill out a mattress/box spring pick up request form or call DPW at 617-898-4900 by Friday at noon. Your mattress or box spring will be picked up the following Tuesday. All mattresses and box springs must be placed in a proper disposable bag to be picked up. Mattress bags are available at most local hardware and home improvement stores. Please place the item curbside by 7am Tuesday and attach five (5) $3.00 trash stickers to the item.
