Students from Milton High School Crew and the Neponset Rowing Club are at your service to provide leaf clean up of your yard! Rowers will wear masks, and bring their own rakes and leaf bags. Leaf bags will be left in front of your house for town pick up.
The proceeds from this Friends of Milton Crew (FOMC) fundraiser will keep our program running all year. FOMC supports rowing by generating operating funds and purchasing boats and other equipment necessary to support athletes from FOMC and Milton High School Crew. Your support helps keep rowing accessible to all who want to participate in Milton and surrounding areas.
For reference, the cost of equipment is as follows:
New 8 person boat = $35,000+
New 4 person boat + $20,000+
New oars = $300 + each
This year the team’s services will be available on two weekends: November 14-15 and November 21-22. They’ll have your yard cleaned up and ready for the holidays. Members of the Milton community can rent out student athletes on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Guidelines:
- All services include 3 rowers working at the same time
- Our services include a half day or whole day:
Half Day: Morning shift: 8am-11:30am or Afternoon shift: 1pm-4:30pm
Whole day: 8am-4:30pm with a lunch break between 11:30-1
Whole day: 8am-4:30pm with a lunch break between 11:30-1
