Milton High School to remain closed through Thanksgiving recess due to 9 confirmed student cases
In a November 15th letter to Milton High staff, students & families, Milton High School Principal Karen J. Cahill announced that all MHS will remain remote:
This letter comes as a follow up to my letter Thursday, November 12th.
Due to 9 confirmed student cases of Covid-19 reported to the school since Thursday, November 12th, and more students awaiting test results, Milton High School is continuing with a fully remote model through the Thanksgiving Recess, with in person learning scheduled to resume on Monday, November 30th.
Students, families and staff who have been deemed close contacts will be contacted by the Milton Board of Health sometime in the next week, as the number of close contacts is quite large, causing a longer turnaround time. It is imperative that all of our students and families remain vigilant, monitor themselves for symptoms, wear masks and practice social distancing in the community.
