Random Review: Got back pain and muscular problems, Milton? I have a guy for you…
A couple of years ago, I started noticing a stiff back. And then painful knees. And then hip pain, followed by nerve pain.
Nothing had actually *happened.* I didn’t get in an accident, didn’t fall, worked out regularly, and am generally considered to be a healthy person… who happens to enjoy the occasional mojito.
My doctor conducted an MRI once the nerve pain started, and discovered a couple of herniated discs and arthritis. Yay, me. I did NOT expect this in my 40s.
I went to physical therapy for a full year, which helped a lot. I got much stronger, but the pain was still there. I also added biweekly massages, acupuncture, cupping, chiropractic care, etc.
But the pain was still there.
A friend recommended that I see a different chiropractor, but I didn’t really want the same ole, same ole: crack neck, crack back, feel the same.
She said, “No, this guy is not like that. As a matter of fact, in the years that I’ve been seeing him, I think he has only adjusted me once.”
My interest piqued, I decided to give it a try. I gave Dr. Joseph Tokarz, affectionately known as “Dr. T” a call. He saw me within a few days. Within a few weeks, my pain was drastically reduced.
It’s so great to wake up in the morning and not immediately think “ouuuucch my back.”
Dr. T is not your typical chiropractor – he blends multiple muscle-fixing modalities into his practice to get you fixed up fast. Also, unlike many practitioners, he wants to help you and get you on your way. None of this “you need to come in twice a week for the rest of eternity” business. He is also very kind and tremendously entertaining.
I recommend him to all of my friends who have back, neck, knee – you name it – pain.
When you are in pain, the negative impact on your life is astonishing. He’s given me so much of my life back and I am so very appreciative.
Here is Dr. T’s info. Tell him Melissa sent you:

(Note that I have not been paid – or even asked – to write this review. I just know how unpleasant it is to have an aching body and after trying a bunch of other things, this is what has helped me the most.)
