Here are the comments:

“One child’s teacher is doing phenomenal, the other is difficult to follow. For both, it’s challenging there are not more online classes and so much if left up to parents who may be working from home.”

“It was clear that Milton was not prepared for this, but more importantly they have still not caught up with other nearby school systems.”

“Very little guidance. No teaching of new subjects. Putting all the onus on the parents. Not responding to students’ email.”

“She feels it’s just busy work, she hasn’t been challenged at all since schools closing. She feels it’s clear which teachers are still invested in teaching and the ones who won’t teach any new content at all.”

“The teachers at Tucker are working so hard and are making themselves to available to the kids. I appreciate their effort so much. The review assignments over the first month were not a great fit for my kids and it has been a hard transition, but not through any fault of the teachers.”

“My son doesn’t get enough work.”

“Glover teachers/administrators are doing an excellent job!”

“My child has ADHD and an IEP. He is having an extremely difficult time staying focused and on task. It would be more beneficial to him if the lessons were given via video chat or were mandatory.”

“Everything I would expect and more. So happy to live in Milton!”

“I think that most of his teachers are interacting and providing reasonable content and balance.”

“While the teachers tried their best, learning from school materials are not as important as peer interactions for kids’ development!”

“My child’s 7th grade teachers have been awesome! Let’s go Pierce!”

“I think Milton Public Schools should have kept to a modified school schedule during regular school hours. My high school student has Zoom meeting me at all hours of the day and night, some scheduled during the same time as other classes. She has one scheduled for 3:30 on Mother’s Day! Not ok! Shouldn’t work around the teacher’s personal schedule. She also was told of some the day of or the night before with very little notice. Very disappointed.”

“On line learning can not replace in class instruction, too many hours looking at the screen.”

“I feel so lucky to have such amazing teachers and administrators to benefit my children s needs. Way to go Milton public schools!”
