MSAPC presents: There is No Health Without Mental Health with Ivy Watts, Wed. May 13

Ivy Watts is an inspiring speaker and powerful advocate for erasing the stigma of mental health issues. On Wednesday, May 13, at 7pm, she will be the guest presenter at the second session of the Milton Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition’s Milton Learns Together: Webinar Wednesday series. This webinar is titled, “There is No Health Without Mental Health.”

COVID-19 has been a challenging time for many of us, but we are not alone, and our mental health matters. Ivy Watts, MPH, will be sharing her own story as well as providing us with tips and tools for self-care and mental wellness of our children, families and friends during COVID-19 and afterwards. Attendees will learn warning signs of mental health problems, feel empowered to have effective conversations surrounding mental wellness, and understand how they can implement self-care techniques for their families into their already scheduled routines during COVID-19 and beyond.

Each webinar in the Milton Learns Together: Webinar Wednesdays series is approximately 30 minutes long with a question and answer period to follow. They are free and no registration is required.
