Ben Zoll seeks re-election for Town Meting Member, Precinct 2
Benjamin Zoll of Brook Road is seeking re-election as a Town Meeting Member. Zoll moved to Milton in 2012, and was first elected to Town Meeting in 2017, where has been an active member. Zoll believes strongly in diversifying the tax base of Milton to allow us to tackle the various challenges facing the town, including a new firehouse and new school building, including a re-think on the town ban on marijuana business.
In 2017, when covering the Town Meeting vote to ban marijuana businesses, the Patriot Ledger described Zoll as “the lone speaker to oppose the measure.” Zoll is proud of his track record of standing up to consensus and challenging existing views.
“As a town, we know that business as usual is putting us in a hole. We cannot resurrect the past, and we cannot hold back the future. We must find ways to fund our schools and our first responders that go beyond property taxes.”
Zoll is employed at Boston Children’s Hospital Trust, where he leads a team of fundraisers that support the research and clinical mission. He is a parent of two Pierce middle schoolers, and a terrible soccer player in the very unofficial Milton Hack Soccer league. Any Miltonians wishing to learn more about him are invited to contact him at [email protected].
