Letter to the Editor: Joseph J. Corcoran Company invites residents to provide feedback
In response to your April 9 article titled “East Milton Neighborhood Association Opposes Scope, Size Of Falconi And Corcoran 40B Project,” we are indeed listening to the comments that have been shared so far and already are discussing ways to address the concerns regarding design, pedestrian safety, and other quality of life matters brought up during our initial public discussions.
We invite neighbors to continue the conversation with us as we move forward on this project. Our intention is to offer the town a way to improve East Milton Square while helping meet its state-mandated affordable housing requirements. The voices of our neighbors are important to this process as we all work together to realize the great potential for our community.
Milton needs to increase its affordable housing stock and East Milton Square provides the perfect setting for this type of smart growth. We understand there are concerns to be addressed before a shovel hits the ground. We are committed to addressing those concerns and making the significant investments into this area to improve everyone’s experience in East Milton Square.
We care about this project because we care about the future of our town. We look forward to working with residents to ensure this project is something that we can all be proud of.
