CANCELLED: Good Fountain players “Grease” performance Fontbonne

The Good Fountain Players are taking us back to 1959! They have transformed the CSJ Center at Fontbonne into Rydell High. Danny and the Burger Palace Boys, Sandy and the Pink Ladies have all been working hard to bring you this gum-snapping, hip-shaking musical. You don’t want to miss it!

“Grease” is a musical about American high schoolers. Sandy Dumbrowski, the new girl in town, and Danny Zuko, the school’s coolest greaser have a secret summertime romance, but when they get back to school, everything is different! The musical features the rock ‘n roll style of the 1950s.   It is the basis for the 1978 film starring John Travolta and Oliva Newton-John.

Milton High’s Gabe Winkler joins the GFP’s this spring to play the lead role of Danny. Several other Milton residents are in the spectacular cast including Gabrielle Dedier, Abigail Files, Jane Leonard, Ava Lundbohm, Ana McA’Nulty, Isabel Raymond and Ava Robertson. 

Opening night is this Friday, March 13th at 7pm at the CSJ Center. There will be several performances on March 13, 14, 20, and 21 at 7pm as well as March 15 at 2pm.

A dress rehearsal will be held at 5:30pm on Thursday, March 12th.
