7:00 p.m. – Meet the Neponset with Ian Cooke, Director of the Neponset River Watershed Association (NRWA)
“Homage to the Neponset” is an exhibit of photographs taken by local artist David J. Stokle. His images highlight the river’s many vistas, encompassing a mixed palette of seasons, weather and moods. All of the framed photographs are available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the museum and the NRWA.
Following a brief reception with the artist, Ian Cooke will discuss the geography, history and current issues facing the Neponset. This is a free public event.
Inspired by the Forbes family legacy of entrepreneurship, social action and philanthropy, the Forbes House Museum fosters discourse around civic engagement and cultural awareness. The museum is located at 215 Adams Street, and parking is available behind the mansion.
