Milton Public Library to host Ed Bray exhibit
Check out Milton Public Library’s new exhibit in January 2020.
During the month of January 2020, the Milton Public Library is hosting an exhibit of the artwork of Ed Bray in the Wotiz Gallery. Ed creates architectural, figurative, portrait and landscape illustrations using watercolor, colored pencil and graphite. After graduation from the Rhode Island School of Design and studying illustration, this artist began his career in Minneapolis, MN where he worked for a company on pen and ink and marker layouts. In addition to his commercial assignments, he focused on watercolor landscapes of the Midwest, which were exhibited at the Fuller Art Museum in Brockton, MA. Examples of his illustrations appear in Drawing: Structure and Vision (c2008) by Fritz Drury and Joanne Stryker. Mr. Bray is skilled in presentation artwork, such as storyboards and comps, as well as finished illustrations and fine art. His work has been featured in American Showcase, the Directory of Illustration, Behance and The Workbook. Mr. Bray works and lives as a freelancer in Brockton, MA and is also a member of the Arts League of Lowell. He was featured in a November 2009 edition (both print and online) of The Lowell Sun. He currently works as an illustrator for advertising agencies and consumer product companies, and does print ads, page spreads, T.V. Key Frames, marker comps, logos and other custom work. Please come and enjoy this colorful and fascinating display of illustrations this month, between January 3rd and 31st.
