Friends of the Blue Hills to hold annual celebration October 3, 2019

Join the Friends of the Blue Hills for an exciting event this Thursday October 3, 2019.

Dave here, your local Blue Hills Reservation evangelist. As some of you know I am active with Friends of the Blue Hills, a nonprofit working to help preserve and protect the Blue Hills. If you are free this Thursday think about attending our Annual Celebration. In addition to free hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, great silent auction items, a raffle to have dinner on top of the Observatory and 5 community partners we are honoring, we have a special guest speaker. To celebrate our 40th anniversary we have bestselling author Tom Ryan, who wrote Following Atticus: Forty-Eight High Peaks, One Little Dog, and an Extraordinary Friendship. It’s a great book and he will be available after his presentation to sign copies. Even if you can’t make it, give the book a shot, you won’t be disappointed.
