Milton Junior Woman’s Club Elects New Board Members

Meet Your New MJWC Board Members as of September 5th, 2019

At a recent meeting of the Milton Junior Woman’s Club, the new slate of executive board members was elected for the 2019-20 calendar year.

The club president is Joanne Achin; vice president is Patti Dobrindt; recording secretary is Nicole DeBassio; and treasurer is Jennipher Ray.

Ms. Achin joined the MJWC in 2006 and previously served as a longstanding Communications Committee chair, and the club’s website designer.

“I am excited to lead the MJWC this year. I have some big shoes to fill, but I have a great group of women to work with,” said Achin.

“A wonderful aspect of this club is that you develop friendships and have fun while also giving back to the community. Our goal is to provide a place where members – current, past and prospective – feel they can connect and contribute,” she added.

In addition to the executive board, several leadership roles have been filled to-date to include the following chairpersons and coordinators:

Jenifer McNulty, chair of the Events Committee; Stephanie Smith, chair of the Milton Road Race Committee; Beth McGee, chair of the Grants Committee; Betsy Thomison, chair of the Scholarships Committee; Kait Levesque, chair of both Meals Coordination and Book Club; the Communications Committee co-chairs consisting of: Kathy Keyes, responsible for club publicity and social media, and Jamey Reddicks, responsible for the club website and online presence; Charlene Neu, coffee time coordinator; and Wendy Garpow, Walking Club coordinator.
