Author Hallie Ephron to come to Milton Public Library to discuss her new book
Enjoy the newly released book prior to the event
On Thursday, September 19 at 7:00 p.m., there will be an author talk by Hallie Ephron about her brand new book called Careful What You Wish For, which will be preceded by a meeting of the Friends of the Milton Public Library in the Conference Room. Ephron’s new novel, released August 2019, is about Emily Harlow, a professional organizer, who helps people declutter their lives; she’s married to a man who can’t drive past a yard sale without stopping. Emily would love to toss out her husband’s stuff, and although he says he’s a “collector,” she knows he’s a hoarder. Luckily she has two new clients to distract her from the distance growing between her and her husband and after fantasizing with one client about how much more pleasant life would be without their collecting spouses, Emily finds herself in a mess that might be too big for her to clean up! Read this fascinating tale to learn more and you can place a reserve on the book by calling the Reference desk. Please come on September 19th.
