Ted Carol appointed to vacant Milton Park Commissioner position

Park Commissioner interviews take place

Five potential candidates were interviewed by the Select Board on April 24, 2019, in an effort to fill the vacancy on the Board of Park Commissioners after the recent resignation of Kevin Chisholm. This position is through the remainder of the term which expires in April 2020.

Candidates included Milton residents Mark Boyle, Theodore G. Carol, Danielle Millet, Trisha Polis and Christopher Skillin. While the Park Commission fought hard for Danielle Millet, the Select Board pushed for Ted Carol. Theodore (Ted) Carol was appointed to fill the vacancy.

The Parks and Recreations Commission develops and protects our trailways, programs, sports facilities maintenance and the hiring of personnel.
