Riverside Theatre Works to perform “The Secret Garden” from May 10 – May 19

Musical to include six different shows

“The Secret Garden,” a musical retelling of the classic children’s book, comes to the Riverside Theatre Works stage from May 10-19! This beautiful production tells the story of Mary Lennox, a child raised in turn-of-the-century India and sent, after a tragedy, to her uncle’s manor on the English moor. There, she finds a mysterious boy, a house full of ghosts, and a neglected garden that needs love, attention, and care.

Music-directed by Milton resident Marilyn Whipple, this production features a haunting and uplifting score and many talented adults, teens, and children from Milton and the surrounding area. Come support local theater and see a moving story brought to life! Performances are May 10, May 11, May 17, and May 18 at 8:00 p.m. and May 12 and May 19 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are available at rtwboston.org.
