Milton Historical Society hosts annual dinner at Neighborhood Club of Quincy

Annual dinner to be “A Visit with Isabella Stewart Gardner: America’s First Patroness of the Arts”

The Milton Historical Society is hosting its 2019 annual dinner, “A Visit with Isabella Stewart Gardner: America’s First Patroness of the Arts” presented by reenactor Jessa Piaia. The event takes place Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Neighborhood Club of Quincy, 27 Glendale Road, Quincy, MA. Social hour begins at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m. followed by the program at 8:00 p.m.

Character reenactor Jessa Piaia will present a dramatic portrayal of Isabella Stewart Gardner. Glad in period attire, Piaia will transport the audience back to Boston at the turn of the 20th century.

Invitations will be mailed out to Milton Historical Society members in April. Extra invitations will be available on the community events counter, 2nd floor, Milton Public Library.

Due to limited seating, reservations are required. Menu choices are Roast Sirloin of Beef or Baked Scrod. Multiple reservations can be made but be sure to include individual names, menu choice and, if necessary names of others you wish to be seated with. RSVP deadline is May 14, 2019.

Cost for Milton Historical Society members is $50.00; non-member cost is $60.00, which includes a free 1-year membership.
