Celebrate National Poetry Month with Milton Public Library
Three professors to present their pieces at Milton Public Library
Please come to “A Celebration for National Poetry Month” with 3 writers, on Tuesday, April 9th at 7:00 p.m. You will hear poems from Professors Kevin Carey, January Gill O’Neill, and J.D. Scrimgeour who all teach English and/or Creative Writing at Salem State University. Each one has published works of poetry and won awards for their writing. Prof. Carey is also a filmmaker and playwright, Prof. O’Neil is “The John and Renee Grisham Writer in Residence” for 2019-2020 at the U. of Mississippi, Oxford, and Prof. Scrimgeour has just released a CD of music with poetry. Their books will also be for sale.
