Milton photographer Donna Parker to be featured in the Wotiz Gallery
Wotiz Gallery to display “Coastal New England” exhibit
The Milton Public Library will host Milton photographer Donna Parker from April 1-30, 2019 in the Wotiz Gallery and her exhibit is called “Coastal New England.” Her display will be mixed, to include landscapes, black and white images, and other creative photos on various subjects. Ms. Parker has displayed previously at the Cumberland, RI public library, at Fuller Village in Milton, has been in juried competitions at MMAS Art Gallery of Massachusetts, and at several other locations. She has also attended numerous workshops and art classes at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence. This is what she says about her work: “I have been involved in photography for over 25 years. I enjoy all types of photography and particularly enjoy the beauty of photographing flowers and landscapes. I also enjoy the imagery provided by black and white photography that provides a strong visual impact, simplicity, and elegance. As a health care researcher, photography has provided me with a wonderful opportunity to express my vision of a moment in time, a particular place or object, and people I have met. Textures, patterns and shadows are all used to help me convey the images. I reside in MA and extensively photograph in New England and the East Coast. I particularly enjoy photographing the tranquil and beautiful coast of New England. I am a member of several photography clubs, an associate member of the Arts League of Rhode Island, and have had my images exhibited in a number of art galleries.” Please come and check out this lovely display at the Library coming up.
