Forbes House Museum to offer modern calligraphy class

Join Forbes House Museum for a Sip & Script on Saturday, March 30th

Join us at the Forbes House Museum, on Saturday, March 30th at 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. for a morning of pretty lettering! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY bride-to-be, or just a crafty person, in this workshop you’ll be introduced to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We’ll cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home décor and more! The perfect crafty morning out.

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, two letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), all Paper Source writing materials, and coffee and light refreshments and bites. All supplies are yours to keep at the end of class!
