Brookwood Community Farm to offer Stocks & Soups Class with Joan MacIsaac
Joan MacIsaac to offer Stocks & Soups class March 27
Stocks are the foundation of good, healthy and flavorful cooking. In this hands-on class we will learn to make vegetarian, seafood and chicken stocks that can be frozen in small batches and used throughout the year.
Then we’ll start our soups anticipating what will be coming from the farm in late May. We’ll prepare Chinese Dumplings in an Aromatic Broth, Creamy Spinach & Greens Soup and a quick Seafood Chowder. This class will be held on Wednesday, March 27th from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The cost is $60 or $50 for 2019 Brookwood members.
