Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton to host Tenth Annual Diabetes Fair

Diabetes Fair to be held on Saturday, April 6th

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton (BID-Milton) will hold its tenth annual spring Diabetes Fair on Saturday, April 6th, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Lantana in Randolph.

This year’s event includes presentations from a panel of doctors and a physical therapist on the latest in diabetes care including diabetes effects on the heart and hearing. The panel includes BID-Milton endocrinologist Ioana Fat, MD; cardiologist Apranta Deka-Patel,MD; ear, nose and throat specialist Edward Reardon, MD, and physical therapist Therese Robinson, PT. The fair will also feature free blood pressure screenings, foot evaluations, information on local diabetes programs and products and a complimentary diabetic-friendly lunch.

“This event is an excellent opportunity for diabetics and their loved ones to learn more about the condition from a panel of experts,” said William Cobb, MD, endocrinologist and chair of the event. “There is a wealth of experience available at the fair and something of value for everyone.”
