Inaugural meeting of 100 Women Who Care Milton chapter to be hosted on February 26th
100+ women x $100 = $10,000 or more for local charity
Please join us at the Fours in Quincy on February 26th for our Inaugural meeting of 100 Women Who Care Milton, MA Chapter. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. Click here to register.
100 Women Who Care is a philanthropic movement that has been expanding around the world and is now coming to Milton MA. The concept is simple – it is a grassroots mobilization of fundraising for community-focused impact.
100 Women Who Care is not a registered charity, non-profit organization or club. We are simply volunteer facilitators who provide networking events to bring together Milton’s caring, giving women and our hard-working local charitable organizations.
How it works: 100 women (or more!) each contribute $100 and vote at our quarterly meetings. Each contributing member can nominate a local non-profit at the beginning of the meeting. We then randomly select three nominated charities and vote on the one to support. At the end of the night, we write a giant check ($10,000 or more!!) to the chosen charitable organization.
Charities must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Must be a registered 501c3 organization
- Must serve Milton and/or the greater Boston area
- Must be able to provide individual tax receipts directly to contributing members
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead
