Boston Pops and Chameleon Arts Ensemble viola player Scott Woolweaver to be featured artist in East Church’s third annual “Concert of Favorites”
“Concert of Favorites” to be held on Sunday, February 24th
Boston Pops and Chameleon Arts Ensemble viola player Scott Woolweaver will be the featured artist in East Church’s third annual “Concert of Favorites” on Sunday, February 24 at 12:00 p.m. Joining Woolweaver will be Lynn Salmonsen, piano, Betsy Maholchic, flute, and Nataly Wickham, soprano.
This year’s concert will span a variety of musical genres from classical to popular. Selections will include works by Bach, Bruch, and Vaughn Williams. A special arrangement of “Falling Slowly” from the musical Once, and Emily Dickinson’s “Hope” will also be presented.
The concert is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome to attend. Donations will be accepted which will support local music causes including the Milton Young Musicians Festival, the South Shore Children’s Chorus, and the Tucker School Music Lessons initiative.
