Milton Cultural Council grant period open through Oct. 15

The Milton Cultural Council held an informational meeting about the grant process on Tuesday Oct. 2, 2018.

The 2018 grant period is now open till October 15.

The Milton Cultural Council is a local grant program of the Massachusetts Cultural Council. It is a grassroots complement to the agency’s centralized grant programs. Allocations are made to all of Massachusetts’ 351 cities and towns from the state-wide program to support community cultural activities. The MCC Program is the most extensive system of its kind in the nation to support arts, sciences and humanities. We review applications from individuals, schools, and organizations to fund after school programs, concerts, festivals, and other cultural activities.

Individuals, schools, and organizations can apply for grants for community cultural activities. Applications are submitted on line. For more information and to apply go to https://www.mass-culture. org/milton.
