In conjunction with the special exhibition On the Wing, featuring works from Mass Audubon’s collection, Historic New England welcomes Amy Montague, director of the Museum of American Bird Art at Mass Audubon, for an illustrated talk. Join her for a discussion of the connections between high society Boston, the arts, and the early days of the conservation movement, which relate to the history of the Eustis Estate and the special exhibition Head to Toe. Learn about the museum’s extraordinary collection of art inspired by birds.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a reception with refreshments and an opportunity to explore On the Wing and Head to Toe.
