Tea Specialist Lisa Tavakoli to return to Milton Public Library with new presentation

“Tea Gowns, Tea Gardens and The Tango: Early 20th Century Tea in England Pre-World War II” to be presented by Lisa Tavakoli

On Thursday, October 4th from 7:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m., Tea Specialist Lisa Tavakoli returns to the Library with a new presentation called “Tea Gowns, Tea Gardens and The Tango: Early 20th Century Tea in England Pre-World War II” This will provide a view into how tea was entwined with the British culture during both World Wars, helping people cope and maintain a sense of civility. Listen to how a beverage of this magnitude brought with it consoling stability and a stronger community during war time. Registration in advance is a must, so visit www.miltonlibrary.org to sign up.
