Prospective Member Night to be hosted by Milton Junior Woman’s Club on October 12th

Milton women invited to attend New & Prospective Member Open House

Milton women are invited by the Milton Junior Woman’s Club to attend the New & Prospective Member Open House on Friday, October 12th, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Widowmaker Brewing, 222 Wood Road, Braintree, MA. The $20 fee at the door covers light appetizers and a free beer. Also available will be food provided by Mangia food truck. While the night is focused on welcoming new and prospective members, current members are welcomed to attend. Partners and spouses are welcomed to attend also.

Co-president Jen McNulty notes that this is her favorite event of the year. “As a long-time member of the Milton Junior Woman’s Club, the Open House event is always a favorite night of mine. It is so fun to reconnect with members I haven’t seen while during the club’s summer hiatus.” She added, “I love welcoming new and prospective members and letting them know what the club does with and for our town.”

Prospective members will have the opportunity to learn about all planned programs and events that will be sponsored by the club for its upcoming year, hear about the club’s charitable accomplishments and get a sneak-peak of new programs.

The Milton Junior Woman’s Club is a civic organization that was founded on October 14, 1912. The club’s largest fundraiser is the annual Milton Road Race which helps fund scholarships awarded to Milton students graduating high school and charitable grants to organizations that benefit Milton residents.
