Milton Historical Society announces Suffolk Resolves House open house
Open house to last between 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12th
The Milton Historical Society announces that the Suffolk Resolves House, located at 1370 Canton Avenue in Milton, MA, is open from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12th, 2018.
.The Suffolk Resolves House is the headquarters of the Milton Historical Society. Because of its significance in the American Revolution the house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places
The Society has extensive collections from all periods in Milton history: portraits of Milton residents, watercolors of the Neponset River, needlework and samplers, and artifacts from Milton companies—Walter Baker Chocolate Co., Thatcher Farm, Copeland Company (Milton Spring Beverages), and Gustave Salzberger Star Compass.
