Briget Bride to host canning homemade tomato jam class
Class to be sponsored by Brookwood Community Farm
Learn to preserve all those beautiful summer tomatoes, to be enjoyed for the rest of the year. Basic water and steam bath techniques will be utilized. This class will be held on Wednesday, August 8th from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The cost is $45.
About Briget:
Briget Bride has been exploring food preservation for over ten years. She loves to teach people to preserve their own food as a way to nurture oneself and connect with nature. She will be teaching jam making with our own tomatoes as well as other fruits. She has a psychotherapy practice in Randolph and Hyannis and sells her jams commercially at farm stands.
