Park Day celebration to be held at Forbes House Museum

Forbes House Museum to participate Civil War Trust’s annual hands-on preservation event

On Saturday, April 7th, 2018, the Forbes House Museum is one of over 160 historic sites in 32 states participating in Park Day, the Civil War Trust’s annual hands-on preservation event. We are looking for volunteers to help pick up trash, sticks and branches and plant late spring bulbs around the property. There will be several free preservation-themed activities for families running throughout the afternoon, including a tour of the grounds and a time capsule craft. Tours of the museum will also be available at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm for the regular price of admission: $10/person, $8/students and seniors, free for members.
