Congregation Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills collecting prom, bridesmaid, and formal wear dresses
As part of its Third Thursday Community Service Mitzvah Program, Congregation Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills will be collecting prom and bridesmaids dresses and formal wear for women, and tuxedos and business wear for men, at the synagogue on Thursday, March 15th from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
The formal wear collection is being conducted in partnership with Tammi’s Closet in Amesbury, an organization that provides prom dresses, tuxedos and business wear for young ladies and gentlemen who may not be able to purchase them. Gently used formal and business wear can be brought to Congregation Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills at 18 Shoolman Way (off Lodge Street) in Milton, and all donations from the community are greatly appreciated.
