Annual Winter Fest set for Tuesday, February 27th, at Blue Hills Ski Area
Join for a night of skiing, food, crafts, and more!
The Friends of the Blue Hills will be hosting their annual Winter Fest on Tuesday, February 27th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Blue Hills Ski. For those hoping to get some winter exercise, there will be downhill skiing and a guided night hike under the lights. There will be plenty of indoor fun, too. Adults and children alike can do a jig to the spirited Irish tunes of Songs for Ceilidh, sample some of the area’s best chili, make some creative winter crafts, or just warm up in front of the fireplace in the cozy ski lodge.
As added enticement, Blue Hills Ski is offering discounted rates of $20 each for an all-day lift ticket, ski rental, or lesson that day. To receive the discount, print out and bring the Friends of the Blue Hills homepage www.FriendsoftheBlueHills.org or Facebook page.
Five local restaurants will be competing in the “Battle of the Blue Hills Chili Cook-Off” that night, including local favorite, Bents. Elected and town officials will serve as judges, and a People’s Choice Award will also be presented that evening. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Milton is sponsoring this year’s Winter Fest.
