Eustis, Wakefield, and Bradley Estates show off their fall colors
Three iconic garden estates nestled among the folds of the Blue Hills will collaborate to host the 1st Annual Blue Hills Great Estates Fall Foliage Tour, showcasing their autumn landscapes and designed gardens on Saturday, November 4th and Sunday, November 5th at 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily.
The Trustees’ Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate, the Mary Wakefield Estate & Arboretum, and Historic New England’s Eustis Estate will be celebrating the fall season with landscape and garden tours, unique crafts, seasonal beverages and treats, and activities for the whole family.
At the Bradley Estate, visitors can “make and take” beautiful centerpieces and fall decorations using the fruits of the kitchen garden, woodland gardens and trails. The Wakefield Estate will feature guided walks through its unique arboretum and grounds, nature-based crafts and tree identification activities for the whole family. Landscape tours will be highlighted at the Eustis Estate, built in 1878 and designed by renowned architect, William Ralph Emerson.
At each Estate tickets for members are $5; $10 for nonmembers. Children under 12 are free. Visit all three and obtain a free program voucher to redeem at one of the Estates through December 2017.
