Riverside Rocks fundraiser to be held to benefit Riverside Theatre Works
When: Friday, October 13th, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Where: Riverside Theatre Works, 45 Fairmount Avenue, Hyde Park
On Friday, October 13, Riverside Theatre Works in Hyde Park will transform into a rock club — and a live jazz venue — for the fundraiser “Riverside Rocks.”
The one-time benefit features five pop and rock bands on RTW’s mainstage, including many Milton musicians, young and old. The lineup includes Boston mainstays Martin/Morell and The Splendid Nobodies, along with local favorites Lower Falls, Victorian Breakfast, and Riverside’s traveling performance troupe Sweet Harmony.
A live jazz quintet will play in Esmeralda’s lounge. Drinks and snacks will be available for sale.
Tickets cost $20, custom t-shirts are $10, and both can be purchased at the door or at www.rtwboston.org. All proceeds will benefit Riverside Theatre Works and its educational programs.
Riverside Theatre Works is located at 45 Fairmount Avenue in Hyde Park.
About Riverside Theatre Works

The 2017-8 season includes “Sweeney Todd,” “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” “Nunsense,” “Guys and Dolls Jr.” and “La Cage Aux Folles.”
Riverside offers private lessons and group classes in music, theater and dance, and produces plays and concerts for children, families, and adults. RTW alumni have gone on to appear on Broadway and national tours, and to use their theater training in all aspects of their lives.
