Generous delivery to Milton Food Bank by Congregation Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills
Congregation Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills delivered over 50 bags of food recently to the Milton Food Bank at Parkway Methodist Church, welcomed by Food Bank worker Nancy Lanata. Rabbi Alfred Benjamin (right) and temple members David Mabel (left) and Ben Goodman (not pictured) delivered the food, which is collected on Yom Kippur, a fast day that reminds us of those who are hungry. An equal amount of food will go to Family Table, a program of Jewish Family & Children’s Services.
