Meet featured artist: Sue Hoy

Sue Hoy’s artistic inspiration comes from the beauty of New England, particularly the farms and beaches. Choosing subjects that capture attention and emotion, Sue strives to simplify shape and color to reflect the essence of her subject. You can see several public art projects that Sue has worked on in Milton and Dedham, including the mural at Abby Park Restaurant and the painted panels behind Collicot School in Milton. Sue teaches classes for children and adults at Milton Art Center and Quincy Art Center. Her work can be found at Dedham Square Artist Guild where she is a gallery member.
