Kids classes and workshops to be held at Milton Art Center
Comics and Cartooning
Grades 1-6
Do you enjoy books like The Diary of a Wimpy Kid or other comic books and graphic novels? Now you can make your own! Learn to develop a simple character, create a story for it and let it star in your very own comic book! We will learn how to show emotion and movement in our cartoons and everyone will work hard to create their own personal cartooning style!
Instructor: Kathleen McDonough
Tuesday, October 3 – Tuesday, November 14 (no class 10/31)

$135, 6 weeks (class limited to 12 students)
A World of Color
Ages 3-6
The world is still so colorful! A World of Color is back with all new projects for ages 3-6! Preschoolers will be given many opportunities to experiment with color using a range of different materials. The projects are all very hands on and have a great sense of play, some magic, and a little bit of mess, to engage this age group. The process-oriented activities, such as straw collages, tissue paper art and leaf needlework use easy to find materials that allow favorite projects to be replicated at home.
Instructor: Kathleen McDonough
