Milton Public Library to show La La Land
On Tuesday, October 3rd starting promptly at 6:30 p.m., there will be a free screening of the Academy Award winning film called “La La Land.” This movie was the most acclaimed musical of 2016 – it’s a cinematic treasure for the ages that you’ll fall in love with again and again. Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling star as Mia and Sebastian, an actress and a jazz musician pursuing their Hollywood dreams – and find each other – in a vibrant celebration of hope, dreams, and love. It’s rated PG-13 for “some language” so it may not be appropriate for young children and the running time is 128 minutes.
All of these programs are kindly sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library, and the concert series is also supported by the Milton Woman’s Club. They are free and open to the public, and will be held in the Keys Community Room unless otherwise specified. Please come and enjoy our library’s happenings this October. For more information, go to our website or contact Jean Hlady, Adult Services Librarian, at 617-698-5757, x. 3.
