Last title in “Surfin’ Cinema Series” to be shown at Milton Public Library
We invite you and your friends to sit in the library for a couple hours to watch a free screening of the fun and classic movie from 1965 called “Beach Blanket Bingo” at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10th. This is the last title in our summer “Surfin’ Cinema Series” and it’s an oldie but goodie! Sink your toes in the sand and get ready to rock and roll with Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello in this very entertaining film that’s full of “fun, frolic and song”. With a cast of comedy legends, including Don Rickles and Buston Keaton, this surfin’, singin’ sand-fest is a surefire winner! So if you haven’t ever seen it – or you have and just want to remember what those sixties beach parties were like – join us at the library. It is not rated and the running time is l hour and 37 minutes.
They are kindly sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library and our concert series is also supported by the Milton Woman’s Club. For more information about any of these events, contact Jean Hlady, Adult Services Librarian, at 617-698-5757, x. 3. The library is located at 476 Canton Avenue, Milton.
