Four affordable homes to become available via lottery

Applications due by 2 p.m. Sept. 6, 2017

There is a lottery for the four affordable homes available at Woodmere Drive at Brush Hill Road in Milton.

These four homes will be sold at affordable prices to households with incomes at or below 80% of the area median income.  It is anticipated that the first affordable homes will be ready Fall/Winter of 2017.

Details:

2 bedroom homes are 1,290 sq. ft.

3 bedroom homes are 1,490 sq. ft.

All homes have 2.5 baths, two garage parking spots, first floor master suite with walk-in closet, vinyl flooring in foyer/laundry/bathrooms/kitchen and carpeting in bedrooms/living room/dining room, Whirlpool white appliances, and central A/C.

Requirements:

• Households cannot have more than $75,000 in assets.
• Maximum Household Income Limits are:
  • $54,750 (1 person)
  • $62,550 (2 people)
  • $70,350 (3 people)
  • $78,150 (4 people)
  • $84,450 (5 person)
  • $90,700 (6 people)

Applications and Required Income Documentation must be delivered, not postmarked, by 2:00 p.m. September 6, 2017. A Public Information Session will be held on August 2, 2017, at 6 p.m. in Milton Public Library (476 Canton Ave).

The lottery will be on September 27th, 2017 in the same location.
