New site manager appointed at Eustis Estate
Historic New England is pleased to announce that Karla Rosenstein was appointed site manager for the Eustis Estate.
As site manager, Rosenstein is responsible for overseeing the management and local marketing of the Eustis Estate, coordinating the daily operation of the regional office, and serving as Historic New England’s liaison to the community. “I’m thrilled to be joining Historic New England and working at the Eustis Estate,” said Rosenstein. “It’s an exciting opportunity to help build something new—not only opening Historic New England’s newest property but also hosting our inaugural exhibition Mementos: Jewelry of Life and Love from Historic New England.”
Prior to her appointment at Historic New England, Rosenstein was a team leader and guide trainer for the Preservation Society of Newport County and a production coordinator in merchandising at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She holds a BA in art history from the University of California, San Diego, and MA in history of art and archaeology from New York University’s Institute of Fine Arts.
