French tours to be held at Forbes House

Middle School students – August 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.

Rising 4th and 5th graders – August 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.

With the last month of summer upon us, it’s a great time to refresh and practice your French skills at the Forbes House Museum. On two Wednesdays in August, come and experience this historic local landmark in the French language. Middle School French students are invited to tour the house on August 16th, and rising 4th-5th graders are invited on August 23rd. Tours begin at 11:00 a.m. and ticket prices are $8/student.

Learn about the American China Trade and life in the 19th century through the home and treasures of one amazing Milton Family. Tours will last approximately 30 – 45 minutes with an activity afterwards.
