Milton Public Library to offer writing workshops
Instructor Betty Siegel will hold 2 sessions of her “Summer Drop-in Writing Workshop” from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, August 9th and August 23rd in the lower level Conference Room. So feel free to just drop in and bring your writing samples for conversation, constructive input and support. Ms. Siegel will help writers of all levels with advice about composition and writing ideas, and she is well qualified to do so since she has taught in the College of Liberal Arts and Science at Quincy College. She is also a professional tutor, skilled in many subjects, and her stories have been published in several local magazines and more. Betty brings her great sense of humor to the group so that all will feel at ease to share their drafts and writing goals.
They are kindly sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library and our concert series is also supported by the Milton Woman’s Club. For more information about any of these events, contact Jean Hlady, Adult Services Librarian, at 617-698-5757, x. 3. The library is located at 476 Canton Avenue, Milton.
