Summer nursing opportunity available at Camp Cunningham

Camp Cunningham and ESY program are in need of a nurse. Camp starts June 26 and runs through August 16, and the nursing hours are 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Camp will be closed on July 3 and 4, and ends on Wednesday, Aug 16. There will be 90-110 students at camp each week, all entering grades 1-6 in the fall.

Nursing duties will include administering medications, keeping written records of visits to the nurse, attending to boo-boos, and having a fun summer with a terrific staff.

Camp is headquartered in the Cunningham School, and the nurse’s room is air-conditioned. The pay rate is $32.47, and the best perk is that your children can attend Camp for free while you’re working. You would only pay for field trips and special events.

We’d prefer an RN who can commit to all 8 weeks, but can piece the weeks together if people want to job share.
